5 liters bain-marie thermo-heater.
A milk warmer holds milk at the temperature needed for frothing and serving without scorching. Instead of heating the milk directly, the SAMMIC TM-5 circulates hot water around a sealed inner vat. This water jacket transfers heat evenly, so every portion stays at the same warmth without forming a skin or breaking down proteins. The method is gentle enough for whole milk, semi-skimmed or plant-based alternatives, and the sealed construction prevents steam escaping into the kitchen.
To use the warmer, fill the inner vat with up to five litres of cold milk. Set the adjustable thermostat to the desired temperature and switch on. The water jacket heats and the milk warms gradually; the hermetically sealed faucet lets you dispense portions without opening the lid. Once the milk reaches the set point, the thermostat cycles the heating element to maintain the temperature until the vat is empty or the unit is switched off.
The body is stainless steel, chosen for durability and ease of cleaning. The faucet has stoppers to prevent drips and accidental spills, and the entire assembly is light enough to move between worktop and storage on a standard catering trolley.
The 1 kW power rating means the warmer draws a single-phase 230 V supply, the standard circuit in most professional kitchens. The footprint of 240 by 360 millimetres fits on a counter or shelf, while the 510 millimetre height clears most overhead cupboards.
Cleaning follows from the sealed construction: after emptying, rinse the inner vat and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. The faucet and thermostat knob should be dried to prevent water marks on stainless steel. No disassembly is required for daily upkeep.
The catalogue places the TM-5 in the beverage equipment section, alongside coffee machines and water boilers.
