BHS stainless steel wall shelf. Modular and durable construction, adjustable length and depth dimensions, manufacturing according to individual drawings and projects.
A single-level wall-mounted shelf system designed to hold heavy kitchen equipment, ingredients or utensils directly above the worktop. The unit fixes to the wall with two brackets, creating a stable platform that keeps items within easy reach without occupying floor space.
Wall shelving of this type relies on a cantilever principle: the brackets transfer the weight of the shelf and its load to the wall structure rather than to the floor. Stainless steel construction and a carefully engineered mechanical joint prevent sagging or twisting, even when the shelf is fully loaded. The flat surface is easy to wipe down, meeting the hygiene standards of professional food-handling environments.
To install, the operator marks the fixing points on the wall, drills and anchors the brackets, then slides the shelf onto the brackets until it locks into place. Once mounted, the shelf is ready to receive up to 50 kg of evenly distributed load. No tools are needed to remove or reposition the shelf for cleaning or reconfiguration.
The system is built from stainless steel throughout, including the shelf and the two wall brackets. The surfaces are smooth and non-porous, allowing quick cleaning with standard kitchen sanitising agents.
The controls are minimal: the shelf itself has no moving parts or settings. The only adjustment is the choice of fixing height on the wall, which the installer determines during mounting.
A 50 kg load capacity means the shelf can support bulk ingredients, heavy pots or stacked containers without risk of deformation. The 500 mm width provides a compact footprint that fits between existing wall-mounted equipment or above a standard worktop. The 300 mm depth keeps items within arm's reach while leaving clearance for headroom and lighting.
Cleaning involves wiping the shelf and brackets with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The smooth stainless steel surface resists staining and does not require special coatings or treatments.
Variants include different shelf lengths and depths, allowing the system to be tailored to the available wall space and workflow requirements. Custom sizes and configurations can be manufactured to order based on individual kitchen layouts.
The system is categorised under professional kitchen storage solutions, specifically wall-mounted shelving units.
