The HNPA exhaust hood with cyclonic filtration technology ensures up to 95% grease removal efficiency. Made of stainless steel (0.8–1.0 mm), fireproof, and dishwasher-safe. Available with LED lighting and an optional Air Jet system, it reduces energy use and improves airflow efficiency in professional kitchens.
A professional cooker hood that removes grease particles from kitchen air using centrifugal force, the Novameta HNPA 1300 is built for high-volume commercial kitchens. The cyclonic filtration system spins the air stream so that heavier grease droplets are flung against the filter walls and captured, leaving the exhaust air cleaner and reducing the risk of duct fires. The hood draws air through two stainless-steel cyclonic filters. As the air enters, it is accelerated into a spiral path; the grease particles, being denser, are forced to the outer wall and drain into a removable tray. This method achieves up to 95% efficiency in grease removal, cutting the frequency of duct cleaning and lowering maintenance costs. The filters themselves are made from 0.8–1.0 mm AISI 304 stainless steel and are dishwasher-safe, so they can be cleaned and returned to service quickly. The cyclonic filtration system starts automatically as soon as steam or cooking fumes rise, pulling grease particles into the centrifugal chamber without any manual intervention. The operator switches on the hood, adjusts the exhaust damper to match the kitchen's ventilation demand, and turns on the built-in LED lighting. The hood can be linked to other units for larger installations, and an optional Air Jet system boosts capture efficiency by up to 20%, allowing the same extraction performance with lower airflow and energy use. A fresh-air supply option delivers clean air directly to the work zone, improving comfort for staff. Construction is entirely in stainless steel, giving a durable, hygienic finish that resists corrosion and heat. The exterior is powder-coated for additional protection, and the hood carries IP65 protection for the lighting, making it safe for wash-down. Two removable grease trays collect the separated grease, and decorative cover panels allow the hood to be finished to match the kitchen's decor. Controls are simple and robust. A light switch operates the LED lighting, which provides 500 LUX at the work surface. The exhaust damper is manually adjustable, and the hood can be assembled in multiple-hood configurations for larger kitchens. The exhaust collar is 315 mm in diameter, and the maximum airflow rate is 1350 m³/h, sufficient for most professional cooking lines. The footprint of 1300 mm wide by 600 mm deep by 480 mm high fits over a standard worktop or island. The weight of the unit means it is normally fixed to the wall or ceiling structure, and the stainless-steel construction allows it to be moved if the kitchen layout changes. Custom widths are available in 10 mm increments, with wall or island mounting options. Cleaning is organised around the removable parts. The two cyclonic filters and the grease trays are dishwasher-safe, and the stainless-steel surfaces can be wiped down with standard kitchen cleaners. The LED lighting is sealed to IP65, so the hood can be washed without risk to the electrical components. Variants include custom widths from 700 mm to 1400 mm, each available in wall or island configuration. The hood is designed for professional HoReCa kitchens and is tested to performance and safety standards by Kaunas University of Technology and FORCE Technology in Denmark.
