Vacuum trays with three separate compartments keep portions of food apart while they are sealed under vacuum or modified atmosphere. The compartments prevent flavours and juices from mixing, so each component of a meal stays distinct until it is opened. These trays are designed to be used with thermosealing equipment and protective atmosphere packaging systems, which extend shelf life by removing oxygen or replacing it with a gas blend that slows spoilage.

The trays are loaded by hand: each compartment receives its portion of food, then the tray is placed on the sealing machine. The operator selects the programme, and the machine draws a vacuum, seals the film over the tray, and cuts away the excess. Once sealed, the tray is ready for storage, transport or display. The compartments remain visible through the film, so the contents can be identified without breaking the seal.

Made from natural cellulose pulp, the trays are lightweight and compostable. After use, they can be disposed of in wet waste along with any food residue, eliminating the need to separate packaging from scraps. The material is certified for composting, ensuring it breaks down in industrial facilities without leaving harmful residues.

Each tray measures 227 mm long, 176 mm wide and 44 mm high, providing a compact footprint that fits standard vacuum sealers and storage systems. The low weight of 30 grams per tray reduces transport costs and makes handling easier during busy service periods.

The pack contains 320 trays, organised for efficient use in professional kitchens where consistent portioning and packaging are required.
