| NOTES | rear panel LPL2 upper shelves +26% at prices |
A rear panel creates a continuous vertical barrier at the back of a double upper shelf table, preventing items from sliding off and shielding the wall from splashes and grease. The panel stands between the two shelves, closing the gap so that utensils, ingredients or small equipment stay organised on the worktop below.
The panel is fixed to the uprights of the table frame, forming a smooth, unbroken surface that runs the full width of the unit. This barrier also improves hygiene by stopping debris from collecting behind the shelves, where cleaning is difficult.
To fit the panel, the operator aligns it with the rear edge of the table frame, ensuring it sits square between the two upper shelves. Fixings pass through pre-drilled holes in the panel and into the frame uprights, securing it firmly in place. Once installed, the panel remains static, providing a permanent backstop for the shelves above.
Constructed from stainless steel, the panel resists corrosion and staining, maintaining a clean appearance under daily kitchen use. Its surface can be wiped down with standard kitchen sanitising solutions, removing grease and food residues without damaging the finish.
The A-LP2U-G rear panel is designed for tables with a 2100 mm width, matching the standard footprint of Novameta double upper shelf worktops. It fits directly to the LPL2 series of tables, completing the rear enclosure without additional brackets or adaptors.
Regular cleaning involves wiping the panel with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then drying it to prevent water spots. No disassembly is required for routine upkeep, as the panel remains in place during daily operations.
