A left-hand up hinge allows the door of a bottle cooler to swing upwards rather than outwards, saving space in tight work areas. The hinge carries the weight of the door and its contents, holding it securely while allowing smooth movement through its full arc. This design is common on under-counter and counter-top coolers where side clearance is limited, letting staff open the door without stepping back or blocking an aisle.
The hinge is installed by removing the old unit and bolting the new one into the pre-drilled fixing points on the cooler's frame. Once fitted, the door should lift cleanly and stay at any angle without drifting. No adjustment is required beyond ensuring the hinge plate is level and the screws are tight.
This spare part is manufactured to match the original specification of the Tefcold CEV425-I LED bottle cooler. It fits only the left-hand side of that model and is not interchangeable with right-hand or other cooler series.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the hinge with a damp cloth to remove dust or spills; no lubrication or disassembly is needed during routine upkeep.
