A sturdy table base forms the foundation of any professional worktop, holding heavy loads while keeping the surface at a comfortable working height. This base supports a worktop by transferring weight through a central column to a wide, stable foot, preventing tipping even when uneven loads are placed at the edges. Adjustable feet level the unit on uneven floors, ensuring the worktop remains steady and safe for food preparation, plating or equipment mounting. The operator begins by unpacking the base, column, cross-brace, mounting screws and four adjustable feet. The column is bolted to the foot, the cross-brace is attached to the column, and the feet are screwed into the foot. Once assembled, the base is positioned where the worktop will stand, the feet are adjusted until the unit is level, and the worktop is placed on the mounting plate. The worktop is secured with screws, which are not included in the set. The base and column are made of brushed AISI 201 stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion and ease of cleaning in a busy kitchen. The top mounting plate is black painted steel, providing a secure surface for the worktop. The base is designed for self-assembly, with all parts fitting together without specialised tools. The mounting plate measures 600 x 600 mm and accepts a worktop up to 1000 x 1000 mm, allowing flexibility in worktop size and shape. The base stands 730 mm high, a standard worktop height for standing tasks, and the feet adjust to compensate for floor unevenness. The base weighs 21 kg, making it light enough to move by two people but heavy enough to remain stable under load. Cleaning is straightforward: the brushed stainless steel surfaces wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, while the painted mounting plate resists splashes and spills. Brushed stainless steel feet slide smoothly across kitchen floors without marring tiles or vinyl, letting you reposition the workstation during service without lifting. An optional taller version is available for tasks requiring a higher work surface.
