A stainless steel table base provides a stable, corrosion-resistant foundation for professional worktops in catering kitchens. The base supports the weight of heavy equipment, ingredients and repeated cleaning without warping or rusting. Adjustable feet compensate for uneven floors, keeping the work surface level and preventing spills or equipment roll-off.
The E-05-800 base is designed for self-assembly. The operator unpacks the base plate, vertical column and top mounting plate, aligns them with the pre-drilled holes, and secures them with the supplied screws. Four adjustable feet screw into the base plate, allowing fine levelling once the unit is positioned. The top mounting plate accepts a worktop up to 800 mm in diameter, which is fixed separately with screws not included in the set.
Construction uses brushed AISI 201 stainless steel for the base and column, combining strength with a surface that resists fingerprints and cleaning chemicals. The top mounting plate is black painted steel, providing a contrasting fixing point that is visible during assembly. A 250 mm square plate with 3 mm thickness distributes the load evenly across the column, preventing deformation under heavy use.
Controls are limited to the four adjustable feet, each threaded to raise or lower the base by several millimetres. No electrical or temperature settings are present; the base is purely mechanical.
The 730 mm height places the worktop at a standardised working level for standing operators, reducing fatigue during food preparation. The 15 kg weight allows two people to move the base into position without lifting equipment, while the 450 mm base diameter keeps the footprint compact, fitting into tight kitchen layouts. Adjustable feet extend the effective footprint slightly, ensuring stability on uneven floors.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent, avoiding abrasives that could scratch the brushed finish. The painted top plate can be cleaned similarly, but solvents that might strip the paint are avoided. Adjustable feet should be checked periodically for debris that could prevent smooth adjustment.
An optional variant with different height is available for kitchens requiring non-standard worktop levels.
The base is categorised under table foundations and supports in the professional catering equipment catalogue.
