A sturdy table base built to carry professional worktops in loft-style kitchens. The black painted steel column and base provide a stable platform for a circular or square top up to 1000 mm across, letting the worktop sit at a standard working height while leaving legroom underneath.
The base arrives as a flat-pack of four main parts: a square floor plate, a central column, a top mounting plate, and four adjustable feet. The operator assembles the parts with the supplied screws, then levels the unit by turning the feet until the mounting plate is perfectly horizontal. Once levelled, the worktop is placed on the 350 x 350 mm mounting plate and secured with separate screws that are not included in the set.
The 550 x 550 mm footprint keeps the base compact while the 80 x 80 mm column gives clearance for knees and trolleys. The 20 kg weight allows two people to move the base into position without machinery, yet the steel construction resists flexing under the load of heavy pots or mixers. Adjustable feet compensate for uneven floors, preventing wobble and spills during service.
Black painted steel forms the entire structure, chosen for its resistance to chipping and ease of wiping down. The paint finish matches the industrial aesthetic of open kitchens and can be ordered in alternative RAL colours for a small additional charge. A different height variant is also available if the standard 730 mm clearance does not suit the planned worktop or operator.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the painted surfaces with a damp cloth; no disassembly is required. The base is designed for self-assembly, so replacement parts such as feet or mounting screws can be ordered separately if needed.
