A sturdy table base that supports round or square worktops up to 800 mm across, keeping prep surfaces stable at a standard worktop height.
The base stands on four cast-iron legs joined by a central column. Each leg ends in an adjustable foot, allowing the unit to sit level on uneven floors. The column carries a steel mounting plate that bolts directly to the underside of the worktop. Because the legs and column are separate parts, the base packs flat for delivery and is assembled on site.
To assemble, the operator fits the legs into the column, attaches the mounting plate, and secures the feet. Once the base is level, the worktop is placed on the plate and fixed with screws. The 250 mm square plate leaves room for tops up to 800 mm diameter or 700 mm square, so it suits most standard catering worktops.
The base is built from black painted cast iron for the legs and black painted steel for the column and plate. Cast iron gives weight low down, preventing tipping, while the steel column keeps the structure rigid without adding bulk. The 11 kg weight makes the base easy to move by one person but heavy enough to stay in place during daily use.
Three adjustable feet at the bottom of each leg let the operator level the base on uneven floors. The feet are threaded into the legs and can be raised or lowered with a spanner.
The footprint of 430 mm square fits within the area of most worktops, so the base does not protrude beyond the edge. The 730 mm height matches standard worktop height in professional kitchens, placing the surface at a comfortable working level.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the painted surfaces with a damp cloth. The cast-iron legs and steel column are sealed with paint, so they do not rust if kept dry. The adjustable feet should be checked periodically to ensure they are tight and free of debris.
Variants include different heights, colours from the RAL palette, and an optional 4.0 kg cast-iron weight for extra stability.
