A table base provides a stable, adjustable platform for professional worktops in catering kitchens. The base transfers the weight of the worktop and whatever is placed on it—food, equipment, containers—down through its column and into the floor. Adjustable feet allow the operator to level the worktop even on uneven floors, preventing spills and ensuring safe, steady use during food preparation and service. The B-58 base is supplied in parts for self-assembly: a cast iron base, a steel column, a top mounting plate, mounting screws and four adjustable feet. The operator positions the base on the floor, attaches the column, secures the mounting plate and screws in the feet. Once assembled, the worktop is placed on the 250 x 250 mm mounting plate and fixed with separate screws, which are not included in the set. The base is constructed from black painted cast iron for the lower section, providing weight and stability, while the column and top mounting plate are made from black painted steel for strength and rigidity. The mounting plate measures 250 x 250 mm with a thickness of 3.0 mm, offering a secure surface for the worktop. The base accommodates worktops with a maximum size of 800 mm in diameter or 800 x 1800 mm rectangular, making it suitable for prep tables, bain-maries and other catering surfaces. Four adjustable feet allow the base to be levelled on uneven floors, compensating for minor imperfections and ensuring the worktop remains steady. The overall height of the assembled base is 730 mm, with the base itself measuring 76 mm in height. The base and column are designed to be compact, with a footprint of 800 x 530 mm, allowing it to fit into tight kitchen layouts while still supporting large worktops. The weight of the base, 11 kg, indicates it is designed to be moved by one person during assembly but remains stable once in place. The black painted finish is standard for professional kitchen equipment, offering a durable, easy-to-clean surface that resists chipping and wear. Cleaning is straightforward: wipe down the painted surfaces with a damp cloth to remove dust and spills. When the worktop is loaded with heavy mixing bowls or stacked sheet pans, the four threaded feet let you dial in a stable, wobble-free stance without shimming. The base is designed for self-assembly, so no specialised tools are required beyond a screwdriver for the mounting screws. Variants of the B-58 base are available with different heights or colours from the RAL palette, and an optional 4.0 kg cast iron weight can be added for increased stability if needed.
