A table base built to carry the weight of a busy café or commercial kitchen worktop without flex or sway. The Omega DUO system uses two vertical columns to transfer the load straight down to a broad, low footprint. This arrangement keeps the worktop level and steady even when diners lean on the edges or staff slide heavy trays across the surface.

The base spreads the load through a cast-iron core embedded in the 70 cm by 40 cm platform. Cast iron is dense and vibration-absorbing, so the table feels solid under use rather than ringing or wobbling. The chrome finish reflects light and resists fingerprints, making the base easy to wipe clean between services.

Two 45 cm by 45 cm mounting plates sit at the top of the columns. Each plate has a grid of fixing points, allowing the installer to align the worktop precisely and secure it with screws or bolts. The 72 cm finished height matches the standard café table height, so chairs slide underneath without catching and staff can work at a comfortable standing position.

The base arrives as a single unit ready to bolt to the underside of a worktop. No assembly is required beyond positioning the mounting plates and fastening the worktop. The chrome surface needs only a damp cloth to remove spills and smudges; no polish or special cleaners are necessary.

The Omega DUO base is designed for tabletops up to 70 cm deep and any length that can span the two mounting plates. It is commonly used under solid-surface, laminate or stainless-steel worktops in cafés, bistros and commercial kitchens.
