A service trolley moves hot plates, plated meals or bulk ingredients from the kitchen pass to the servery without carrying. Four shelves organise the load by course or station, keeping each tray within reach of the operator's hand.

The trolley rolls on four 100 mm wheels, two of them locked by foot-operated brakes. The wheels run on sound-insulating gaskets that dampen vibration from the kitchen floor, so crockery and glassware stay steady while the trolley is in motion. A plastic bumper around the base protects walls, door frames and other equipment from knocks during manoeuvring.

Each shelf is a flat stainless steel tray welded to the frame. The shelves are spaced evenly, allowing standard gastronorm trays or hotel pans to slide on and off without tilting. A 50 kg load rating per shelf accommodates bulk containers of sauce, soup or pre-portioned sides, as well as stacked plated mains.

The welded construction forms a single rigid unit that does not rattle or flex under load. Stainless steel resists corrosion from spills, steam and cleaning chemicals, and can be sanitised with high-temperature washdown. The smooth surface of each shelf prevents food debris from catching, so wiping with a cloth or squeegee removes most residues.

Four shelves provide enough capacity to stage a full service for a single station, or to ferry multiple courses for a small function. The 1100 mm length matches the width of a standard kitchen pass, so the trolley aligns neatly with the counter without overhang. The 650 mm depth allows two trolleys to pass side by side in a corridor, and the 1230 mm height keeps the top shelf within comfortable reach for most operators.

Cleaning follows the same routine as other stainless steel work surfaces: wipe with warm water and detergent, rinse, and sanitise. The wheels and brakes require occasional lubrication to keep them rolling smoothly and locking securely.
