The product is intended for use with models R0201020224, R0201020225, and R0201020229 and is suitable for professional kitchens, medical facilities, laboratories, and other environments where hygiene and functionality are essential.
A clinical lever tap handle replaces the traditional knob or crosshead with a smooth, easy-grip lever that can be operated with the back of the hand, the wrist or the forearm. This design keeps bare fingers away from the tap body, reducing the spread of contaminants in kitchens, healthcare settings and food-production areas where hygiene is critical.
The lever pivots on a central spindle, opening or closing the valve inside the tap body. A short lever gives a compact turning arc, so the handle stays close to the tap and does not intrude into the workspace. The plastic material is chosen for its resistance to cleaning chemicals and its ability to withstand repeated disinfection without corroding or becoming brittle.
To use the lever, the operator presses it down to start the water flow and lifts it to stop. The smooth action requires only light pressure, making it practical for frequent use throughout a long service period. The black colour helps to mask minor scuffs and stains that can accumulate in busy environments.
This handle is moulded in durable PA6 plastic, a polyamide that combines strength with chemical stability. The material is non-porous, so it does not harbour bacteria, and it can be wiped clean with standard kitchen sanitisers without degrading.
The short black plastic clinical lever is a direct replacement part for compatible tap bodies, allowing quick restoration of hygienic operation without replacing the entire tap assembly.
Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the lever with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then rinse and dry. Avoid abrasive pads that could scratch the surface and create sites where bacteria could lodge. Regular disinfection with a food-safe sanitiser maintains the hygienic properties of the plastic.
