Shopping basket and trolley GLHOE GL6018

A rolling shopping basket moves goods without lifting. Four swivel castors carry the load across floors, thresholds and ramps, letting one person shift bulk ingredients, bottled drinks or packaged disposables in a single trip. The open wire construction keeps the contents visible and the weight low, while the vertical sides prevent spills when the basket is tilted or cornered.

The operator loads the basket from the top, stacking items to the marked 60-litre capacity. Once filled, the basket is pushed or pulled by its handle; the castors swivel to steer around tight kitchen corridors and service lifts. On arrival, the contents are unloaded from the same open top, or the basket is tipped forward to slide heavier items out. No doors, shelves or drawers slow the process, so the basket is ready for the next run within seconds.

The frame is built from tubular steel for strength and lightness, with a welded wire mesh base and sides that support the load while allowing air circulation. A powder-coated finish resists kitchen moisture and cleaning chemicals. The handle is an extension of the frame, giving a secure grip without extra parts that could loosen or break.

The 390 mm width fits through standard kitchen doorways and service lifts, while the 400 mm depth allows two baskets to stand side by side in a storage cupboard. The 680 mm height keeps the centre of gravity low for stability when loaded, and the 60-litre volume matches typical bulk-pack sizes for flour, sugar, tinned goods and bottled water.

Cleaning is a wipe-down with a damp cloth; the open wire construction leaves no corners where dirt can collect. The powder coating protects the steel from rust, so the basket can be stored in humid or wet areas without damage.
