This cooling tray is designed to chill freshly made food while protecting it from air exposure. It includes two removable cooling elements that absorb heat from the stainless steel base. The elements are filled with water, frozen in advance, and placed inside the polystyrene base to create a chilled surface that slows bacterial growth and prevents drying without needing mechanical refrigeration.

To prepare, fill each cooling element with water up to 90% of its volume, seal, and freeze. Once frozen, position the elements in the polystyrene base. Arrange food on the stainless steel surface and secure the transparent polystyrene lid onto the profiled rim. The lid forms a sealed environment that maintains humidity and keeps out dust or contaminants. When the elements thaw, remove, refill, and refreeze them for reuse.

The tray is constructed from stainless steel with a raised rim to hold the lid in place. The polystyrene base insulates the cooling elements and supports the steel tray. Both the lid and base can be detached for cleaning. The unit measures 430 mm long, 290 mm wide, and 150 mm high, with an internal usable space of 350 mm by 240 mm by 80 mm. It weighs 1.47 kg, making it easy to move between worktops or display counters.

The lid clips on without adjustments, and the cooling elements have no moving parts. Their effectiveness depends on the water volume and freezer temperature.

The 430 mm length fits standard gastronorm shelves and counter displays, while the 1.47 kg weight allows single-person handling. The 80 mm internal depth suits layered items like canapés or desserts without crushing them. The transparent lid lets staff and customers see the contents without breaking the seal.

Cleaning involves removing the lid and base, washing the stainless steel tray and polystyrene parts in warm soapy water, and rinsing the cooling elements under a tap. The elements only need refilling with fresh water after each use.

The tray comes as a complete set with two cooling elements. No additional accessories are available for this model.
