An upper shelf for the Novameta Table 800 adds storage above the worktop without taking floor space. It mounts directly to the table frame, creating a second tier for ingredients, utensils or small appliances that need to stay within reach but off the main surface. The shelf sits parallel to the worktop, leaving the full depth of the table free for food preparation while keeping essentials organised and visible.

The shelf is a fixed platform, not a drawer or a tray. It supports items by bearing their weight across its entire surface, distributing the load evenly to the welded frame beneath. This construction prevents sagging and allows the shelf to hold heavier items than a simple bracket-and-board arrangement. The flat surface also makes it easier to slide containers or trays on and off without tipping.

To use the shelf, position it above the table at the desired height, align the mounting holes with the table frame, and secure it with the supplied fixings. Once installed, the shelf remains in place, ready to hold up to 30 kg of equipment or supplies. There are no moving parts or controls; the shelf functions purely as a static load-bearing platform.
