An upper shelf for the Table 700 worktop creates additional storage above the main work surface without taking extra floor space. It mounts directly onto the bench frame, providing a second tier for ingredients, utensils or small appliances that need to stay within reach but off the primary preparation area.

The shelf is a flat platform supported by vertical brackets or welded struts. Its height above the worktop allows trays, bowls and containers to be slid underneath, keeping the bench clear while keeping everything accessible. Because it is fixed rather than rolling, it remains stable even when fully loaded, and its open design lets air circulate so damp items dry quickly.

To fit the shelf, the operator positions the brackets over the existing bench uprights and secures them with bolts or clamps. Once levelled, the shelf is ready to receive whatever the kitchen needs to store above the work surface. Items are placed directly on the flat steel plate; there are no dividers or lips, so the user can arrange them in any layout that suits the task.

Construction is AISI 304 stainless steel, welded and reinforced for rigidity. The surface is smooth and seamless, so spills wipe away without catching in joints. The 700 mm length matches the Table 700 worktop, while the 300 mm depth gives enough room for standard trays and containers without overhanging the bench edge. A height of 400 mm above the worktop keeps stored items clear of head height for most operators.

The shelf is supplied as a single unit with all necessary mounting hardware. No electrical or plumbing connections are required. Cleaning is a matter of wiping the steel surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent; because there are no moving parts or crevices, maintenance is limited to checking that the fixings remain tight.
