Heated buffet, GN 1/1, 1490x765x(H)1370mm
This heated buffet unit maintains plated dishes or bulk portions at serving temperature without drying or overcooking. A concealed element beneath the worktop warms the air inside the canopy, ensuring even heat distribution around gastronorm containers. The canopy traps steam, preventing surface crusting and keeping sauces fluid. When lowered and latched, it seals the unit, protecting contents from contaminants and temperature changes during breaks in service.
Place up to four GN 1/1 containers on the fold-down tray guides. Adjust the temperature between 30 °C and 90 °C using the control panel. Once the target temperature is reached, raise the canopy for service or lower and secure it with latches when unattended. Two shelves beneath the counter offer storage for utensils, backup containers, or condiments, keeping them accessible yet unobtrusive.
The unit features a stainless steel body, selected for its corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning in high-demand kitchens. The canopy frame is also stainless steel, with tempered, rust-resistant glass panels allowing staff to view contents without opening the unit. The worktop and shelves are made of black plywood, a sturdy material that supports filled containers and frequent use. Four castors enable easy movement between service areas or storage.
The temperature range of 30 °C to 90 °C suits a broad selection of dishes, from sauces requiring gentle heat to roasted meats needing higher holding temperatures. The 220–240 V voltage matches standard single-phase kitchen supplies, allowing plug-in use without special wiring. A 2 m cable provides flexibility in positioning relative to power sources.
The unit measures 1490 mm by 765 mm, fitting standard worktop depths for placement against walls or within buffet lines. The robust construction includes four castors for stability during movement.
Cleaning involves wiping stainless steel surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Glass canopy panels can be removed for thorough cleaning. The black plywood worktop and shelves should be dried after cleaning to prevent water damage. Periodically check fold-down tray guides to ensure smooth operation and secure container support.
The unit includes four GN 1/1 containers, each accommodating depths up to 150 mm, suitable for various portion sizes and dish types. Canopy lighting enhances visibility for staff and customers, improving presentation during service.
