Salamander grill MBM SET1

The MBM SET1 is a professional toaster from MBM.

This appliance toasts food using radiant heat. The MBM SET1 features Incoloy armoured heating elements. A key operational feature is the movable upper plate, which can be adjusted to slide closer to or further from the food, allowing precise control over the toasting process. The design also permits heating only half of the surface area at any one time, offering flexibility for different cooking needs.

Operation involves placing food items on the lower grid. The upper plate is then lowered to the desired position. The heating elements activate, toasting the food. The user can monitor the toasting progress via the user-friendly display. Once toasted to the desired level, the upper plate is raised, and the food can be removed.

The construction is primarily stainless steel, providing a hygienic cooking surface. For ease of cleaning, the heating elements tilt, allowing access to the area beneath the moving deck. The appliance is equipped with removable stainless steel drip trays and chromium-plated steel grids. These components feature a safety stop to prevent accidental removal and are fitted with heat-resistant handles. Thermal insulation is incorporated into the design, and an aluminium insulated handle further protects the user from burns.
