A divider screen pot creates a physical barrier between adjacent workstations in a professional kitchen without blocking sight lines or airflow. The screen stands on a sturdy base and rises to full worktop height, shielding one section from splashes, steam or stray ingredients while letting chefs see and speak across the divide. This arrangement keeps separate tasks—such as frying, plating and sauce preparation—organised in the same open space, reducing cross-contamination and improving workflow during service.
The screen is positioned between two work surfaces or hobs, resting on its own base so it does not rely on existing counters for support. Once in place, it remains stable throughout the shift, requiring no permanent fixing. Chefs can still pass small items over the top or move around the ends, maintaining communication and access without removing the barrier.
Constructed from stainless steel, the divider screen pot resists corrosion, heat and frequent cleaning. Its smooth surfaces allow quick wipe-downs between tasks, and the material withstands the chemicals and temperatures of commercial sanitising routines.
The 1400 mm height matches standard worktop levels, ensuring the screen aligns with adjacent counters and hobs. The 480 mm width provides enough coverage to separate two stations while leaving space for movement at either end. The unit's footprint fits within a typical kitchen aisle, allowing it to be placed or removed without major reconfiguration of the workspace.
Cleaning involves wiping both sides of the screen with a damp cloth and approved sanitiser after each service. The steel surface requires no special treatment beyond routine disinfection, and the base can be cleaned in the same way to prevent grease or food debris accumulating underneath.
