A pre-rinse shower unit delivers a targeted jet of hot and cold water to remove food debris from pots, pans and utensils before they enter the wash cycle. The mixer valve blends the two supplies into a single stream at a temperature the operator sets, eliminating the need to adjust separate taps. The jet is directed by a flexible hose and a rigid spout, allowing the user to reach every part of the load without moving the base.
The unit is mounted through a single hole in the worktop or splash-back, reducing the number of seals and potential leak points. An extension arm raises the spout and shower head above the sink rim, giving clearance for large items. The operator turns the round handles to open the hot and cold supplies, then adjusts the ratio until the water feels right.
Construction is a C-shaped spout of 18 mm diameter and 300 mm length, finished in a durable coating. The round handles are fixed directly to the valve body, giving a compact footprint that fits tight spaces. The shower head is detachable for cleaning or replacement, and the hose is long enough to reach the far side of a standard commercial sink.
Cleaning is limited to the parts the water touches: the spout, hose and shower head. These are rinsed after each shift and descaled weekly with a mild acid solution to prevent mineral build-up. The mixer valve itself requires no maintenance beyond occasional lubrication of the seals if the handles begin to stiffen.
The unit is designed for one-hole installation in stainless-steel worktops or splash-backs, matching the standardised fittings used across professional catering equipment.
