Refrigerated display case SAYL MI-8RZ

A refrigerated display cabinet keeps chilled food visible and accessible without breaking the cold chain. Instead of an internal compressor, the MINIMAL REMOTO MI-8RZ connects to a remote refrigeration plant that circulates cold refrigerant through concealed coils. The coils chill the air inside the cabinet, which is then circulated by a quiet fan to maintain an even temperature across every shelf. This method removes heat and noise from the point of sale, leaving only the cooled volume and the illuminated display.

The operator loads up to eight GN1/3 gastronorm trays through the front glass door. Once the door is closed, electronic sensors monitor the internal temperature and adjust the flow of refrigerant to hold the cabinet between +2 °C and +6 °C. LED lighting above each shelf switches on automatically, casting a bright, uniform light that enhances the appearance of pastries, desserts or chilled dishes while consuming minimal electricity.

The cabinet stands on a stainless-steel frame that measures 1540 mm wide, 410 mm deep and 380 mm high. Tempered glass panels form the front, sides and top, allowing customers to view the contents from any angle. The glass door hinges open for restocking and cleaning, and the entire glass assembly can be removed for servicing without tools. Inside, the shelves are spaced to accept GN1/3 trays with a 40 mm depth, keeping the food organised and easy to reach.

An 8 GN1/3 capacity provides space for a full dessert or salad service in a footprint that fits on most worktops or counters. The +2 °C to +6 °C temperature range is standardised for chilled display, ensuring compliance with food-safety regulations while preserving texture and flavour. LED lighting draws less current than fluorescent tubes, reducing the load on the electrical circuit and lowering running costs.

Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel interior and glass panels with a mild detergent. The glass door and side panels can be lifted off for thorough cleaning or replacement. The remote refrigeration connection requires periodic inspection of the refrigerant lines and coils to maintain efficiency, but the cabinet itself has no moving parts that need lubrication or adjustment.

The MINIMAL REMOTO MI-8RZ is a remote-cooled variant of the SAYL MINIMAL range, designed for establishments that already operate a centralised refrigeration system.
