SK series professional glass and dishwashers are designed for efficient and reliable operation in bars, restaurants, cafés, hotels, and other professional kitchens. The machines provide high washing quality, economical operation, and modern hygiene solutions.
A commercial under-counter dishwasher built for rapid turnover of glasses, cups, plates and cutlery in cafés, bars and small kitchens. The 400 × 400 mm basket slides in and out on runners, holding items up to 290 mm tall without stacking or crowding.
The machine uses a high-pressure wash pump to force hot water through rotating spray arms. Water is heated electrically inside an atmospheric boiler that keeps the temperature steady throughout the cycle. A built-in break tank prevents any backflow of used water into the mains supply, meeting hygiene regulations. The rinse phase raises the water temperature to the level needed for thermal disinfection, and the Thermostop system holds the cycle until that temperature is reached, so every load comes out sanitised.
Operation is organised in four timed cycles: 90, 120, 180 and 540 seconds. The shortest cycle suits lightly soiled glasses between service peaks; the longest handles greasy plates and pans at the end of the shift. A Soft Start feature ramps the pump speed up gradually, reducing wear on seals and bearings. After the final rinse, the Smart Drain system empties the tank completely without an overflow pipe, so no water is left standing overnight.
The operator loads the basket with glasses, cups or cutlery, slides it into the machine and closes the door. The electronic control panel, mounted on a hinged arm, is pulled forward for easy reading. A cycle is selected, the start button is pressed, and the machine fills, heats, washes, rinses and drains automatically. At the end of the day the self-cleaning programme flushes the wash tank with fresh water and detergent, leaving the interior ready for the next service.
The cabinet is double-skinned stainless steel, reducing noise and heat loss. Surface filters catch food debris before it reaches the pump, and a removable basket collects cutlery. Electric detergent and rinse-aid dispensers meter the correct dose for each cycle, so no manual pouring is needed. Two glass racks, a small cutlery basket and a saucer insert are supplied with the machine.
The 400 V three-phase supply provides the power needed for rapid heating and high-pressure washing. The 49 kg weight keeps the unit stable on the worktop, and the 483 mm width fits under most standard work surfaces. A 2 m inlet hose and 2.5 m drain hose are included, so the machine can be connected to existing plumbing without extra fittings.
An optional water softener can be added to prevent limescale build-up in hard-water areas. The machine is classified as an under-counter model in the KASTEL professional dishwasher range.
