The KASTEL UK-L 55/45E PRS is a professional dishwasher constructed from stainless steel with a double-shelled, insulated body.

This machine operates by spraying hot water and detergent onto dishes held in racks. Water is heated in a boiler and circulated by a pump through wash levers. After washing, dishes are rinsed with clean hot water, often with rinse aid, to remove detergent and aid drying. The UK-L 55/45E PRS includes a Thermostop system for hot rinsing and a PRS system. It also has a Green function for energy saving.

Operation begins by loading dishes onto the included utensil rack (55x55 cm) or trays rack. The dishwasher is closed, activating a magnetic door microswitch. A washing cycle is selected using the electronic control panel with an LCD display. Cycles can be set for 2, 3, or 6 minutes. The machine automatically fills with water to a capacity of 2.5 litres per cycle and heats it. A self-cleaning cycle is available at the end of the day.

Key specifications include a basket size of 550x550 mm. The unit has a power consumption of 6.8 kW and operates on a 400 V electrical supply.
