A neutral dispenser trolley keeps stacks of plates at worktop height, letting kitchen staff draw one plate at a time without reaching into a cupboard or bending to a lower shelf. The self-regulating mechanism releases each plate as the one above is lifted, so the next plate is always ready at the same level. This removes the need to restack or re-level plates during service, cutting handling time and reducing the risk of chips or breakage.
The operator loads two stacks of plates from the top, one on each side of the trolley. Plates are placed directly onto the spring-loaded platforms; the weight of the stack compresses the springs until the top plate sits flush with the protective barrier. As each plate is removed, the springs extend slightly, raising the remaining stack so the next plate is presented at the same height. No manual adjustment is required, and the process continues until the last plate is taken.
Construction is a welded steel frame finished in a durable galvanised coating. Four 125 mm wheels—two with brakes—allow the trolley to be moved between storage and service points and then locked in place. A plastic protective barrier runs around the top edge to shield the plates from knocks, while a removable garbage tray beneath catches any debris or broken pieces.
Each side of the trolley holds up to 55 plates with diameters between 160 mm and 280 mm, and the maximum load per stack is 35 kg. The overall footprint is 380 mm deep by 720 mm wide, fitting through standard kitchen doorways and alongside worktops without blocking aisles. The 900 mm height places the top plate at a comfortable working level for most staff, reducing strain during repeated service.
Cleaning is straightforward: the garbage tray lifts out for emptying and washing, and the galvanised surfaces can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The plastic barrier unclips for deeper cleaning, and the wheels can be cleaned in place or removed if necessary.
