Electrowelded steel construction with galvanized tracks
A hydraulic bowl lifter raises and tilts mixing bowls that weigh several hundred kilograms without manual strain. The MACISTE 1900 is built for planetary mixers: a hydraulic pump driven by a 2.2 kW motor pushes oil through a cylinder, lifting the bowl along galvanised steel tracks. The tilting mechanism lets the operator empty the bowl without lifting it off the lifter, so the weight stays supported throughout the transfer.
The operator wheels the bowl onto the platform, locks it in place, then uses the hydraulic controls to raise it to one of three working heights: 1.3 m, 1.9 m or 2.6 m from the floor to the bottom edge of the bowl. At the highest position the bowl is level with the mixer's beater, ready for mixing. After mixing, the operator tilts the bowl forward to pour the contents into a trolley or hopper. The safety protection ring prevents the bowl from sliding off during lifting or tilting.
The frame is electrowelded steel with galvanised tracks that guide the bowl carriage. Floor support legs are stainless steel, and the entire lifting mechanism is also stainless steel for corrosion resistance and hygiene. The 400 V three-phase motor draws 2.2 kW, so it requires a dedicated three-phase circuit in the kitchen.
The unit weighs 650 kg, so it is moved on a pallet truck or forklift. Its footprint changes with the position of the bowl: 2180 mm long by 1500 mm wide when open, 2300 mm long by 1540 mm wide when closed. This space must be kept clear around the machine to allow the bowl to tilt forward safely.
Cleaning is limited to wiping down the stainless steel legs and lifting mechanism with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The galvanised tracks should be brushed to remove flour or dough residue after each shift. No water should be sprayed directly onto the hydraulic components or motor.
The MACISTE 1900 is a single model designed to lift bowls up to 400 kg for Sigma planetary mixers and compatible brands.
