Electrowelded steel construction with galvanized tracks
This planetary mixer bowl lifter automates the raising and tilting of mixing bowls, eliminating manual lifting. A hydraulic pump, powered by a motor, extends a ram to elevate the bowl carriage along vertical tracks. Tilting the bowl forward allows easy unloading, with the hydraulic system maintaining the position until the bowl is lowered again.
Operation starts with the bowl secured at floor level. The operator chooses one of three heights—1.3 metres, 1.9 metres, or 2.6 metres from the floor to the bottom edge of the bowl—before activating the lift. Once at the selected height, the carriage locks, and the bowl can be tilted for emptying. After use, the bowl is returned upright, and the hydraulic system lowers it back to the floor.
The structure features electrowelded steel with galvanised vertical tracks guiding the bowl carriage. Stainless steel legs provide floor support, while a safety protection ring encircles the lifting area to prevent accidental contact with moving parts. The lifting mechanism, also made of stainless steel, supports bowls weighing up to 400 kg.
Controls include a selector switch for the three lifting heights and a start button for the hydraulic pump. The 2.2 kW motor delivers smooth lifting power, and the 400 V three-phase supply suits professional kitchen setups. The unit's 480 kg weight ensures stability during use, and its dimensions require dedicated space in a production area.
Maintenance involves wiping the stainless steel legs and lifting mechanism with a damp cloth to remove residue. The galvanised tracks should remain clear of debris for smooth operation. Routine cleaning does not require disassembly.
The MACISTE 1300 is a standalone model, compatible with Sigma planetary mixers featuring suitable bowl attachments.
