Stylish, functional and ergonomic design for easy pizza dough cutting and scraping
A bench scraper built for dividing and lifting pizza dough without tearing. The flexible stainless steel blade glides under risen dough, portions it cleanly, and transfers each piece to the peel or tray without sticking. The same blade scrapes flour and dough remnants from the worktop, keeping the surface clear for the next batch.
The blade's flexibility allows it to follow the curve of a bowl or bin, scooping up every gram of dough. A sharp edge is not needed; the blade's thin profile and slight give do the work by leverage rather than cutting, so the dough's structure stays intact.
The operator holds the scraper by a wide silicone handle that fills the palm. Silicone's non-slip texture keeps the grip secure even when hands are dusted with flour or lightly oiled. A hanging hole at the end of the handle lets the scraper dangle from a hook above the bench, keeping it within reach and off the work surface.
To use, the operator presses the blade flat against the bench, slides it under the dough, lifts, and transfers. For portioning, the blade is drawn through the dough in a single motion, leaving clean edges. The same tool scrapes the bench clean after each use, reducing waste and cross-contamination.
The blade is made of stainless steel, resisting corrosion from dough acids and cleaning agents. The handle is moulded silicone, bonded to the blade so it will not loosen or crack. Both materials are dishwasher-safe, allowing the scraper to be sanitised alongside other utensils at the end of service.
The 130 mm blade width matches the diameter of a standard pizza peel, so each portion fits neatly onto the peel without trimming. The scraper's compact size stores easily in a drawer or on a utensil rail, taking no more space than a large knife.
Dishwasher-safe construction means the scraper can be loaded with other kitchen tools for a full sanitising cycle, removing dough residue and flour dust that harbour bacteria.
