A round culinary form shapes cakes, terrines and moulded dishes by holding the mixture in a fixed diameter while it sets. The rigid sides prevent the mixture from spreading, so the finished item keeps its intended size and proportion without slumping or warping during baking or chilling.

The form is filled with batter, mousse or forcemeat, then placed on a baking sheet or in a water bath. Once the dish has set, the form is lifted away, leaving a clean, even edge. The straight sides also make unmoulding easier, as the food releases in one piece rather than sticking to the sides.

To use, grease the interior lightly or line it with baking paper if the recipe requires. Pour in the mixture, level the top, and transfer to the oven, steamer or refrigerator. After the dish has set, run a thin blade around the inside edge to release any adhesion, then invert or lift the form off.

The form is made of 18/0 stainless steel, a corrosion-resistant alloy that does not react with acidic or alkaline ingredients. Its smooth surface minimises sticking and allows quick cleaning. The material is also dishwasher-safe, so it can be sanitised alongside other kitchen tools without manual scrubbing.

Dimensions of 100 mm diameter and 45 mm height give a compact footprint that fits on standard baking sheets and in combi-steamers. The size is suited to individual portions or small cakes that require precise shaping without occupying excessive oven space.

Cleaning follows from the construction: remove any residue with a soft brush or cloth, then wash in hot soapy water or load into the dishwasher. The stainless steel surface resists staining and does not absorb odours, so it remains hygienic for repeated use.
