A neutral serving module provides a continuous stainless steel worktop for assembling, holding and presenting plated dishes during service. It does not generate or remove heat; instead, it creates an organised surface between hot and cold sections of the pass, allowing staff to stage multiple orders without cross-contamination or temperature drift. The unit is built as a free-standing frame with adjustable feet, so it can be levelled on uneven floors and positioned exactly where the workflow requires. Shelves beneath the worktop hold trays, plates or small equipment, keeping them within arm's reach while maintaining a clear counter for active plating. To use the module, staff place the unit in the desired position and adjust the feet until the worktop is level. Trays or small equipment are loaded onto the shelves below. During service, plated dishes are assembled on the worktop, staged in the order they are needed, and then transferred to the pass or directly to front-of-house. The seamless stainless steel surface resists corrosion from acidic dressings and steam, keeping the worktop hygienic between lunch and dinner service. The worktop is a single sheet with rolled edges to prevent spills from running onto the floor. Shelves are flat and unobstructed, allowing trays to slide on and off without catching. The only control is the adjustable feet, which are turned to raise or lower each corner until the worktop is perfectly level. The 2900 mm length provides a long, uninterrupted work surface that can accommodate multiple orders at once. The 700 mm depth keeps everything within easy reach without overcrowding the pass. The 900 mm height matches standard worktop levels in professional kitchens, allowing seamless integration with adjacent hot and cold counters. The 120 kg maximum load per shelf ensures that even heavily laden trays can be stored safely beneath the worktop. Cleaning is straightforward: the stainless steel worktop and shelves are wiped down with a sanitising solution after each service. The rolled edges prevent debris from collecting, and the open frame allows access to the underside for thorough cleaning. Adjustable feet should be checked periodically to ensure the unit remains level and stable.
