A neutral serving module provides a continuous stainless steel worktop where hot and cold dishes are held, portioned and plated before service. The unit does not generate or remove heat itself; it relies on separate heated or chilled inserts placed on its shelves. This design keeps the module simple, durable and adaptable to any menu or service style without built-in temperature controls that could limit its use.
The operator loads the shelves with gastronorm trays, plates or containers, then arranges the food on the worktop for final assembly. Each shelf supports up to 120 kg when the load is evenly distributed, allowing multiple trays of roasted meats, sauces or desserts to be staged at once. The 2500 mm length creates a long, uninterrupted surface that integrates with other kitchen modules or stands alone as a central plating station.
Construction is a welded stainless steel frame with adjustable feet for levelling on uneven floors. The worktop is a single sheet of brushed stainless steel, seamless and easy to sanitise. No internal motors, compressors or heating elements are present, so the unit requires only a standard electrical supply for any optional under-shelf lighting or power sockets.
Cleaning follows from the materials: the stainless steel worktop and shelves are wiped down with a sanitising solution after each service. Adjustable feet are checked periodically to keep the unit stable and level, preventing spills or uneven tray placement.
The module is classified as neutral because it has no active heating or cooling, making it suitable for any section of the kitchen where a sturdy, hygienic worktop is needed.
