A neutral serving module provides a stable, unheated worktop where plated dishes are assembled, garnished and held ready for service. The flat surface supports trays, plates and serving utensils without adding or removing heat, so food temperatures remain exactly as the kitchen intends. This configuration keeps hot dishes hot and cold dishes cold by relying on external chilled or heated under-counters, bain-maries or refrigerated drawers placed beneath or alongside.
The operator loads each shelf with plated food, condiments, cutlery or serving equipment. A uniform layout ensures even weight distribution across the full 2400 mm length, preventing sag or tilt. Staff move along the module, picking up completed plates and replenishing items as service continues. The open front allows easy access from both sides, so multiple servers can work simultaneously without crowding.
Construction is a welded aluminium frame with adjustable feet for levelling on uneven floors. The worktop is a single sheet of stainless steel, seamless and without joints, so spills and debris cannot collect in crevices. Shelves beneath the worktop are flat, unperforated stainless-steel panels that support the stated 120 kg load per shelf when weight is spread evenly.
No controls are fitted; the module itself has no heating, cooling or power requirement. It relies on adjacent equipment for temperature control and simply provides the organised space where food is transferred from preparation to service.
The 2400 mm length creates a continuous run that integrates with other Novameta modules or third-party counters, allowing a seamless front-of-house layout. A depth of 700 mm gives enough room for two rows of plated dishes side by side, while the 900 mm height keeps the worktop at a comfortable standing level for servers. The 120 kg per shelf capacity means the unit can hold multiple trays of plated mains, desserts or buffet items without risk of deformation.
Cleaning follows from the materials: the stainless-steel surfaces are wiped down with sanitising solution after each service, and the aluminium frame is cleaned with a damp cloth. Adjustable feet are checked periodically to ensure the module remains level and stable.
The catalogue places this product in the neutral serving and counter section, alongside heated and refrigerated modules for complete front-of-house assembly.
