Middle post foam Tefcold SpareParts TC9218802269

A middle post foam is a structural and insulating component used in refrigeration units to maintain the integrity of the cabinet and prevent thermal bridging. It sits between metal panels, filling the gap to block heat transfer and support the unit's frame. Without this foam, cold air escapes and warm air enters, forcing the compressor to work harder and increasing energy use.

This part is installed during assembly or repair of refrigeration cabinets. The foam is cut to fit the exact dimensions of the middle post, then inserted into the cavity before the outer panels are secured. Once in place, it remains static, providing continuous insulation and structural reinforcement.

The Tefcold middle post foam is designed as a direct replacement for compatible refrigeration units. It is made from closed-cell foam, which resists moisture absorption and maintains its insulating properties over time.

This spare part fits specific Tefcold refrigeration models. Always verify the article number TC9218802269 against the unit's original parts list before installation.

In the Tefcold spare parts catalogue, this item is listed under refrigeration components for professional catering equipment.
