A contactless handwash station removes the need to touch taps or soap dispensers, cutting cross-contamination in busy kitchens, canteens and washrooms. An infrared sensor detects the user's hands and triggers a measured flow of water and foam soap without physical contact. The absence of handles or levers means no surfaces are left wet or soiled between uses, so the station stays cleaner and reduces the spread of bacteria and viruses.
To use the station, the operator places hands beneath the spout; the sensor activates the water for a pre-set interval, then pauses while soap is dispensed. A second wave of the hands restarts the water for rinsing. The sequence is fixed to ensure every user follows the full handwash cycle, improving compliance with hygiene protocols.
The unit is constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion, ease of cleaning and durability in high-traffic areas. No moving parts are exposed on the exterior, so the surface can be wiped down quickly with standard sanitising solutions without risk of damage or trapped moisture.
The station is custom-made in any size to fit the available space, from compact units for small washrooms to larger models for industrial kitchens or production lines. Its footprint is determined by the installation requirements, allowing it to be integrated into existing layouts without major alterations.
Cleaning is limited to wiping the stainless steel surfaces and checking the soap and water supply. The touchless system eliminates the need to scrub taps or dispensers, reducing maintenance time and the use of cleaning chemicals.
