An LED strip provides bright, even illumination inside refrigerated cabinets, display counters and under-counter units. Light-emitting diodes mounted on a narrow circuit board draw low current and generate almost no heat, so they do not raise the internal temperature of chilled equipment. The 7000K colour temperature produces a cool white light that renders food colours accurately and makes labels and expiry dates easy to read in a busy kitchen.

The strip is fitted by removing the old lighting assembly, positioning the new strip in the same mounting points, and reconnecting the power lead. No additional wiring or transformers are required. Once installed, the strip operates whenever the cabinet is powered, giving consistent visibility without operator intervention.

Constructed as a rigid 465 mm aluminium channel with a clear diffuser, the strip protects the diodes from moisture and physical damage. The diffuser softens the light output, reducing glare and hot spots inside the cabinet.

This 465 mm LED strip is a direct replacement for Tefcold refrigeration and display units, ensuring compatibility with existing mounting points and electrical connections.
