Knife magnet Stalgast 248458

A magnetic strip holds metal catering tools against a stainless-steel wall or worktop without drilling. Permanent magnets embedded in the strip create a steady field that pulls ferrous utensils—knives, whisks, peelers, tongs—onto the surface and keeps them from sliding off. The hooks clip onto the strip and provide extra points for hanging ladles, sieves or small pans that lack magnetic parts.

The operator presses the strip's adhesive backing or screws its mounting brackets onto a clean, dry vertical surface. Once fixed, the strip is ready to receive tools; no power or adjustment is needed. Metal implements snap into place as soon as they touch the strip, and the hooks can be slid along the length to suit different tool sizes. When a utensil is needed, it lifts away cleanly, leaving the strip free for the next item.

The strip is 450 mm long, giving enough space to organise a set of frequently used tools in a compact line. Its magnetic field is strong enough to hold typical catering weights without sagging, yet gentle enough to allow easy removal without strain. The hooks add versatility, letting the same strip support both magnetic and non-magnetic items side by side.

Cleaning is straightforward: wipe the strip and hooks with a damp cloth to remove dust or splashes. Avoid abrasive pads that could scratch the surface and weaken the magnetic grip over time. The strip is designed for indoor use in dry, non-corrosive environments typical of professional kitchens.

This 45 cm model is part of Stalgast's magnetic-organiser range for commercial catering.
