49 skewers
A manual skewers maker organises the threading of meat and vegetables onto shashlik skewers by holding each skewer upright in a grid. The operator places the ingredients between the fixed rods, pressing them onto the skewer without sliding or twisting. This method keeps every skewer uniform in length and spacing, so each piece cooks evenly and the presentation is consistent across the batch.
The SAVIOLI SP49/24 holds 49 skewers at once. The skewers sit in a perforated base that keeps them vertical and evenly spaced. The operator loads the ingredients from above, pressing them down onto the skewers until the batch is complete. Once filled, the skewers are lifted out together and transferred directly to the grill or oven rack.
The unit is built from anodised aluminium, which resists corrosion and does not react with acidic marinades. The base and grid are a single assembly, so there are no loose parts to misplace during service.
The footprint of 180 mm by 180 mm fits on a standard worktop, and the 3.2 kg weight allows it to be moved easily between prep stations or stored in a cupboard when not in use.
Cleaning follows from the materials: the anodised aluminium surface can be wiped down with a damp cloth and mild detergent after each use. The grid design prevents food debris from becoming trapped, so no disassembly is required for routine upkeep.
