A heated cabinet keeps hot food at serving temperature while it is moved from kitchen to event or delivered to a remote site. The unit holds gastronorm containers in a sealed, insulated chamber warmed by an electric element. Heat is distributed evenly around the containers so that every portion stays at the same temperature, avoiding cold spots that spoil texture and flavour. The operator loads the gastronorm containers into the cabinet, closes the door and sets the desired temperature on the control panel. Once the temperature is reached, the unit maintains it automatically. The built-in heating element cycles on and off to compensate for heat loss through the walls and door. When the cabinet is unplugged, the high-performance insulation continues to hold the temperature, allowing safe transport without immediate access to power. The cabinet is constructed of stainless steel with polyurethane foam insulation. The door seals tightly to prevent heat escaping. The interior dimensions accept gastronorm containers in sizes 1/1 and 1/2, with varying heights. The exterior footprint fits through standard doorways and onto worktops or trolleys. Controls include a temperature setting dial and an indicator light showing when the heating element is active. The temperature range allows the cabinet to hold food at safe serving temperatures without overcooking or drying it out. The exterior dimensions of 477 mm by 680 mm by 620 mm give the cabinet a compact footprint that fits into vans, event spaces and kitchen work areas. The weight allows it to be moved by one person when empty, and by trolley when loaded. The interior volume holds between two and twelve gastronorm containers, depending on their height, allowing the cabinet to scale from small deliveries to large events. The seamless stainless-steel liner and outer skin are designed to let kitchen steam and splashes slide off without trapping grease, so a quick wipe restores the unit to a hygienic shine between service runs. The door seal should be checked regularly for food debris and cleaned to maintain an airtight closure. The heating element and insulation require no maintenance beyond keeping the cabinet dry and free of damage. A separate trolley is available for easier transport of the loaded cabinet. The cabinet is designed for professional catering use, where food must be kept hot during transport and service without access to a fixed power supply.
