A pedestal base designed to lift a tap unit, creating a more accessible working height for filling containers. By positioning the tap higher, the operator avoids bending or reaching over deep sinks, reducing strain and speeding up repetitive tasks such as filling urns, jugs or large pots.

The pedestal itself is a rigid support structure that sits between the worktop and the tap. It does not alter the tap's internal mechanism or water flow; it simply raises the point where the tap emerges, allowing taller vessels to fit comfortably beneath the spout without tilting or spilling.

Installation follows the existing tap mounting. The pedestal is placed on the worktop, the tap is secured through its central aperture, and the water supply lines are connected as usual. No additional plumbing or modification is required, making it a straightforward retrofit for compatible tap models.

Constructed in a compact footprint of 315 mm by 440 mm, the pedestal occupies minimal counter space while providing a stable platform. Its height of 135 mm delivers the specified increase from 120 mm to 240 mm, measured from worktop to tap outlet.
