Electromechanical horizontal ice cream maker with automatic extraction with time control to ensure the correct gelato consistency.

The STAFF Ice system 1959 HSE300 is an electromechanical batch freezer designed for the production of gelato and sorbets.
An electromechanical batch freezer operates by chilling a mixture while simultaneously agitating it. The internal mixer, driven by an electric motor, incorporates the air into the base mix and scrapes the freezing product from the cold walls of the freezing cylinder, preventing ice crystal formation and ensuring a smooth texture. This process continues until the desired consistency is achieved.
The HSE300 features a stainless steel mixer with three selectable speeds. It is equipped with self-adjusting POM scrapers that are designed for longevity. The machine includes a tank defrost switch and a non-slip mat for operational safety. For transmission protection, an inverter with an acceleration ramp is fitted. The freezer has double door hinges and a high-thickness stainless steel door. The freezing cycle can be initiated during the product extraction process. Malfunctions are indicated by both acoustic and visual alerts. The unit incorporates Ad Hoc consistency control, allowing for customisable recipes based on consistency, density, and trowel settings.
This batch freezer has a production capacity of 30 litres per hour. Each work cycle can produce between 1 and 4.5 litres of product. The overall dimensions are 435 mm in length, 798 mm in width, and 1257 mm in height. The unit operates on a 400 V electrical supply and weighs 130 kg.
Cleaning and upkeep would involve the accessible parts of the mixer and freezing cylinder. The stainless steel construction facilitates regular cleaning.
This appliance is listed in the catalogue under bar equipment and ice cream machines.
