Electromechanical horizontal ice cream maker with automatic extraction with time control to ensure the correct gelato consistency.

- Article number: HBE600
The STAFF Ice system 1959 HBE600 is an electromechanical batch freezer designed for the production of gelato and sorbets.
An electromechanical batch freezer operates by chilling a mix while simultaneously agitating it. This process incorporates air into the mix and prevents large ice crystals from forming, resulting in a smooth texture. The HBE600 features a stainless steel mixer with three selectable speeds. An inverter with an acceleration ramp manages the mixer's operation, providing controlled starting and stopping.
To begin a work cycle, the mix is loaded into the machine. The operator can then select the desired consistency using the Ad Hoc consistency control. The machine allows for the production of up to 10 litres of ice cream per cycle, with an hourly output capacity of 60 litres.
Construction includes a stainless steel mixer and a high thickness stainless steel door. The machine is equipped with self-adjusting and long-lasting POM scrapers. For user convenience and safety, it features a tank defrost switch, a tank non-slip mat, double door hinges, and acoustic and visual malfunction indicators.
The machine has a capacity of 60 litres per hour. Its dimensions are 600 mm in length, 830 mm in width, and 1505 mm in height. The unit operates on a 400 V electrical supply and weighs 256 kg.
Cooling options available include air cooling, water cooling, or a combined air-water cooling system.
