| NOTES | cut out 2015x575 mm, 6 GN 1/1 |
A drop-in heated surface keeps six gastronorm 1/1 pans at serving temperature without a water bath or chafing dish. Electric elements beneath the stainless-steel plate transfer heat evenly across the entire surface, so every pan receives the same warmth. The method eliminates hot spots and prevents food from drying out or cooling unevenly during service.
The operator lowers the filled pans into the recessed wells, sets the desired temperature between +30 and +85 °C on the control panel, and leaves the unit to maintain the heat. Once the service period ends, the pans lift out and the surface can be switched off.
Construction is a single stainless-steel plate with integral heating elements, designed to drop into a worktop cut-out of 2015 by 575 mm. The overall dimensions are 2074 mm long, 600 mm wide and 120 mm high, giving a flush fit in a standard worktop. A 3.3 kW power draw requires a dedicated circuit capable of handling the load during peak service.
The adjustable temperature range allows gentle warming for delicate sauces at +30 °C or holding roasted meats at +85 °C without further cooking. The 2074 mm length accommodates six gastronorm 1/1 pans side by side, making it suitable for buffet lines or pass-through stations where multiple dishes must be kept hot simultaneously.
Cleaning involves wiping the stainless-steel surface after each service and removing any food debris from the wells. The flat design has no crevices, so routine maintenance is limited to surface cleaning and periodic inspection of the heating elements.
The unit is placed in the catalogue under drop-in heated surfaces for professional catering.
