A wall-mounted storage cabinet keeps ingredients, utensils and small equipment off the worktop and within reach. The sliding door moves horizontally on rollers, so it never swings into the aisle or blocks the path of staff. This design suits tight spaces where a hinged door would interfere with workflow or with other appliances mounted nearby.
The cabinet is fixed to the wall at a comfortable height, leaving the floor clear for cleaning and for mobile trolleys. Inside, shelves hold items in organised rows, and the closed door protects contents from kitchen splashes, dust and accidental knocks. Sliding doors also reduce the risk of trapped fingers, a common hazard with hinged doors in busy kitchens.
To use the cabinet, the operator pulls the handle to open the door, selects or places the required item, then slides the door closed. The door stays aligned on its track, so it does not sag or bind. No locking mechanism is fitted, so access is immediate and the door cannot be accidentally locked shut.
The cabinet is constructed from stainless steel, a material that resists corrosion from kitchen moisture and cleaning chemicals. The surface is smooth and non-porous, so it does not trap food particles or bacteria. The dimensions of 800 mm width, 300 mm depth and 700 mm height provide a compact footprint while still offering usable storage volume. The width allows the cabinet to fit between standard worktop sections or between other wall-mounted units. The depth keeps the cabinet within the work zone without protruding into the aisle. The height places the shelves at a convenient level for frequent access without stooping or stretching.
Cleaning is straightforward: the interior and exterior surfaces are wiped down with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The sliding track is cleared of debris to keep the door moving smoothly. The cabinet is not designed for wet cleaning with a hose, so water is kept to a minimum to avoid seeping into the track or behind the panels.
