A mobile storage and transport unit designed to hold twelve standard gastronorm trays in a single vertical stack. The trolley keeps trays aligned, spaced and secure while they are moved between preparation areas, cooking stations and service points.

The principle is simple: each tray rests on a shelf that matches the gastronorm footprint. The shelves are fixed at regular intervals so that trays slide in and out without tilting or jamming. A rigid frame and four swivel castors allow the trolley to be pushed or pulled through doorways, lifts and tight corridors without tipping or swaying. The vertical arrangement minimises the floor space taken while maximising the number of trays carried, making it practical for kitchens where worktop area is limited.

To use the trolley, the operator loads each shelf with a tray, starting from the bottom. Once all twelve shelves are filled, the trolley is wheeled to its destination. There, trays are removed in the same order, or the entire trolley can be left in place as a temporary storage unit. The open sides give access from both front and back, so trays can be reached without moving the trolley.

The trolley is constructed from stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion, ease of cleaning and durability in a commercial kitchen environment. The frame and shelves are welded for strength, and the castors are fitted with brakes to hold the trolley stationary when needed.
