A gas stove with six burners arranged on a freestanding stand, designed for high-output professional cooking without a canopy or backguard. The burners fire directly into the kitchen atmosphere, so the unit must be placed under an extractor hood or in a ventilated area to remove combustion gases and excess heat.
Each burner mixes natural gas or propane with air in a venturi tube, then ignites the mixture at the burner head. The flame is self-stabilising: a small pilot flame inside the main burner keeps the gas flowing at a steady rate, preventing blow-out or flash-back even when the kitchen door is opened. Brass burner caps conduct heat evenly and resist corrosion, so the flame pattern stays consistent over time. Power can be adjusted from a gentle simmer to full sear, giving the operator control over delicate sauces or rapid boiling.
To use the stove, the operator places a pan on one of the cast-iron pan supports, turns the knob to light the pilot, then adjusts the flame to the desired level. The supports are sized to fit inside a commercial dishwasher, so they can be removed for cleaning without tools. Burners are spaced to accept pans up to 40 cm across, allowing large stock pots or multiple smaller pans on adjacent burners.
The frame is a welded steel stand with adjustable feet for levelling on uneven floors. No oven or storage is built in, so the unit is purely for hob cooking. The gas inlet is at the rear, requiring a flexible hose connection to the fixed supply line.
The 1100 mm width provides space for six burners side by side, while the 730 mm depth keeps the stove within a standard worktop run. The 850 mm height matches most other freestanding catering equipment, so it can be aligned with ovens or bain-maries. The 94 kg weight means the stove must be moved with a trolley or two people, and it should stand on a solid floor that can support the load.
Cleaning involves removing the pan supports and washing them in a dishwasher. The burner caps lift off for access to the burner heads, which can be wiped with a damp cloth. The self-stabilising flame reduces carbon build-up, so maintenance is simpler than with conventional burners.
The DOMINA PRO 700 is a single model; no variants are listed. It is filed in the catalogue under gas hobs and freestanding stoves.
