Lava rock kg. 9
A lavastone gas grill heats a solid stone slab with a high-efficiency burner beneath. The stone absorbs and radiates heat evenly, searing food without flare-ups while fat drains away through a sloped grid into a collection drawer.
The operator lights the burner with piezoelectric ignition, adjusts the flame via a temperature knob from minimum to maximum, and places food directly on the stone or on the stainless steel grid. A separate rod grid for fish can be added if ordered. Fat drips through the V-shaped grid into a front runner, then flows into a removable drawer for easy disposal. Cool-grip handles and knobs stay safe to touch during service.
The grill is built entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel with a scotch-brite finish. The top surface is 2.0 mm thick and rounded for durability, with a rear flue chimney to vent combustion gases. The gas safety tap and thermocouple shut off the supply if the flame fails. Four legs allow free-standing use or bench mounting.
The 11 kW gas burner draws a single-phase supply typical of professional kitchen circuits. The 400 mm depth, 900 mm width and 850 mm height fit standard worktop spaces while leaving room for the flue chimney at the back.
Cleaning involves removing the fat drawer, wiping the stone and grid with a scraper, and washing the stainless steel surfaces with non-abrasive cleaner. The rounded top and sloped grid prevent fat pooling, reducing scrubbing time.
The model is certified to EC standards for commercial catering equipment.
