Gas griddle CASTA L7/FTG2BBMC

The CASTA LADY 700 L7/FTG2BBMC is a gas-powered smooth-ribbed grill surface. It cooks food directly on a heated plate, with gas burners beneath generating heat. The ribbed pattern allows fat to drain away while searing food.

Operation involves igniting the gas burners, typically using the piezo ignition system. Once lit, the thermostatic control tap allows selection of a cooking temperature via a 0-8 position scale. A thermocouple provides a safety function, shutting off the gas if the flame is extinguished. Food is placed directly onto the hot ribbed surface. A front drainage system with a hole directs excess fat into a removable collection drawer. After cooking, the appliance is switched off using the control tap.

The construction features AISI 304 stainless steel for the main body, finished with a Scotch Brite effect. The cooking surface itself is a 15 mm thick chrome-plated steel plate. Stainless steel splash guards are fitted to prevent grease splatter. The control knobs and handles are made from heat-resistant materials.

The power rating is 12 kW. The dimensions are 700 mm in length, 700 mm in width, and 275 mm in height.

Cleaning involves emptying the removable fat collection drawer and wiping down the stainless steel surfaces. The cooking plate requires cleaning after use to maintain its performance.
