Pot is made with the utmost care using high quality materials.
Body made of high quality stainless steel.
Gas power 21,0 kW
A gas boiling pan that transfers heat through an intermediate medium such as water or steam, eliminating direct contact between the flame and the product. This indirect heating method prevents scorching and ensures even, gentle heat distribution across the entire tank volume, making it suitable for delicate sauces, acidic recipes and large batches of soup that require consistent temperature without hot spots.
The operator fills the tank via the hot/cold water tap and adjustable spout, then loads the ingredients. The balanced lid, fitted with an athermic handle, seals the tank during cooking. Ignition is by piezo system and pilot flame, lighting the high-performance tubular burners that heat the intermediate medium. A manually resettable thermostat and minimum/maximum temperature control valve linked to a thermocouple safety system regulate the heat, automatically cutting off the burners if the temperature exceeds safe limits. Once the cooking cycle is complete, the front chromed brass cock with insulated handle drains the contents safely, even when hot.
The tank base is constructed from acid-resistant AISI 316 stainless steel, providing long-term resistance to chemical attack from acidic or aggressive ingredients. The walls and lid are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, chosen for its durability and ease of maintenance in a professional kitchen. The supporting structure and adjustable feet are also stainless steel, ensuring stability under regular heavy use. Thick fibreglass insulation panels minimise heat loss, improving energy efficiency, while the external casing in satin-finish AISI 304 stainless steel gives the unit a professional appearance and simplifies cleaning.
The 21 kW power rating indicates the load on the gas supply, requiring a dedicated circuit sized for commercial catering equipment. The 800 x 900 x 850 mm footprint determines the space the unit occupies on the kitchen floor, including clearance for the lid to open fully and the front cock to operate. The adjustable feet allow the pan to be levelled on uneven surfaces, preventing spills and ensuring even heat distribution.
Cleaning involves rinsing the tank after each use, using the hot/cold water tap and drainage cock. The smooth stainless steel surfaces and satin finish reduce residue adhesion, while the absence of direct flame contact prevents carbon build-up. The lid, handle and cock are removable for thorough cleaning, and the fibreglass insulation panels are protected by the external casing, preventing moisture ingress.
The LQ/PIG410 is available in two capacities: 102 litres and 113 litres, allowing selection based on batch size and kitchen throughput. This model is categorised under professional cooking tanks for the food industry, designed for environments where precise temperature control and material durability are critical.
