A flexible hose connects water supplies to equipment without rigid piping, allowing movement and adjustment where fixed lines would crack or leak. This construction prevents kinking, bulging or bursting under the daily demands of a working kitchen, where taps open and close repeatedly and equipment shifts on the worktop.

The operator attaches one end to the water inlet of the appliance and the other to the tap or supply line. The hose bends to follow the path, then straightens when the appliance is moved for cleaning or reorganisation. No tools are needed beyond the fittings provided, and the connection remains watertight as long as the hose is undamaged.

The hose combines a PVC inner layer with a stainless steel braid. The PVC carries the water without corrosion or scaling, while the braid resists stretching, abrasion and impact from trolleys or dropped utensils. The two layers are bonded so the hose flexes as a single unit, rather than the layers sliding against each other.

This hose is specified for use with the Monolith EROS003 model, ensuring compatibility with its inlet thread and pressure rating. The same construction suits other water connections in the kitchen where flexibility and durability are required, provided the thread size and pressure match.

Cleaning is limited to wiping the outer braid with a damp cloth to remove grease or dust. The inner layer should not be exposed to solvents or steam cleaning, as these can degrade the PVC over time. Regular inspection for kinks, cuts or frayed braid prevents leaks before they occur.

The hose is supplied as a single length without couplings or adapters, so the correct fittings must be sourced separately if the existing supply does not match the appliance inlet.
